About us
A science organization rooted in Bharat
Vigyan Bharati (VIBHA) began as the Swadeshi Science Movement at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, under Prof. K. I. Vasu, and became a national organisation in 1991.
VIBHA is India's largest nationalistic, patriotic and humanistic science organisation, a community of scientists, professors, teachers, thinkers, students and researchers.
VIBHA has units in all the states of India, known as Prant units. We also have initiatives in foreign countries like the USA, UAE, Germany and others.
Awadh Vigyan Bharati carries this mission across the Awadh region — popularising science, nurturing young talent through Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan, and bringing scientists, teachers and students together to connect modern science with Bharatiya heritage.
