Ritu Karidhal Srivastava, born in Lucknow, studied physics at the University of Lucknow and aerospace engineering at IISc. At ISRO she was Deputy Operations Director of the Mars Orbiter Mission, helping design the spacecraft's onboard autonomy, and Mission Director of Chandrayaan-2.
